Jan contacted me a few days before Valentine’s Day, asking for a simple photoshoot of his proposal in Paris.
He liked my kind of proposal photography in Paris but when I mentionned I was used to take many hours to prepare a perfect proposal … he said : “Make it the best you can, but make it simple, because I really want to propose just after we land in Paris” . And that’s what he did.
We had planned to meet at Trocadero Square at 9:30am. We arrived ahead of time … and Jan & Janine were already there !!!
But everything went perfectly, they did not seem to be bothered at all by the rain. Our three cameras were completely covered of water but the photos ( thanks to a huge post-processing) went great !!!
We use Canon 1DX and 5DMKIII cameras, which are all-weather proof, but that was a new crash-test! We passed it successfully 😉
