First let me share the sms that Rui sent me on the day after the proposal:

“Bruno, I wanted to thank you for the great evening. It was even better than my expectations, we really enjoyed the moment …

Ana loved it : it was a unique moment for us. This was only possible due to your kindness and great professionalism … Thank you my friend!”

This kind words are exactly what we aim to receive after every proposal photo shooting!

But it’s the result of a long preparation process, that’s different every time (and that’s how we never get bored of them).

Rui had in mind to propose during winter , so it wouldn’t have been a good idea to go for a night walk. I don’t know one women who loves to walk for a long time with high heel shoes 😉

Instead,  I picked up the couple with my white Rolls Royce at their hotel in Le Marais. I pretended I was a limousine driver, and Ana thought I was driving them to the Opera Garnier for a lyric evening. That’s how she cared about getting dressed well and do a great make-up. We drove for 40 minutes from Bastille to Bir-Hakeim Bridge, through Place Vendome, La Concorde and Alexandre III Bridge. It was fun for me  to do the “Guided tour”!

I had carefully prepared with Rui the moment of the proposal on Bir-Hakeim. Even though he was very nervous, it was quite easy to convinc them to move from the dark side of the bridge to the bright spot under the arch.

We had anticipated his position on Skype with Google Street View and when Rui got down on one knee, Ana was totally surprised!
